With an extremely busy cat season this summer, The Lost Dogs’ Home is at capacity with cats and kittens at their Cranbourne shelter.

To free up space and be able to help other cats and kittens in need, they’re holding a Meownificent March promotion.

Until the end of March, The Lost Dogs’ Home is waiving the usual adoption fees on cats over six months old and kittens are half price. All normal adoption requirements still apply.

Cranbourne Shelter Manager, Rod Jennings said the aim of the Meownificent March adoption promotion is to find ‘purr-fect’ homes for as many cats and kittens as possible, freeing up space for other felines in need.

“We’re hoping this will prompt anyone who’s been thinking about getting a cat to come into The Lost Dogs’ Home to look, as we have so many gorgeous cats just waiting for their new home” Rod said.

All cats and kittens at The Lost Dogs’ Home are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and up-to-date with flea and worming treatments.

Cranbourne adoption hours are between 11am and 5pm Monday to Friday, at 920 Thompsons Road, Cranbourne West.
