CRANBOURNE MP JUDE Perera says that Fairfield Street in Cranbourne is a concern he will continue to work on.
The road scattered with potholes was last patched up on Tuesday 12 May but according to Cranbourne resident Robert Kuhlmann the potholes are a recurring problem.
“There’s about eight to 10 potholes that I have seen – some would be 12 inches deep and it’s extremely dangerous.
“They keep getting patched up and eight weeks later they have deteriorated again,” Mr Kuhlmann said.
Mr Perera said Metro Train Melbourne was responsible for the maintenance of the street, but said he will continue to work with the Minister for Public Transport Jacinta Allen to improve the condition of the street.
