THE Dennis Family Corporation is offering grants of up to $1000 for groups in Cranbourne to continue their work to enhance the community.
Applications for The Hunt Club Community Fund 2014 are now open and will close on Friday 1 August at 5pm.
Grants of $500 and $1000 are available for groups which are not-for-profit and have been operating within the Cranbourne 3977 postcode area for at least 12 months.
Now in its 19th year of operation, the initiative has already donated an aggregate total of more than $160,000 to groups in the Cranbourne area to assist people of all ages in undertaking a wide range of very worthy projects.
“We have always considered it important to support the areas where we operate our business,” said Dennis Family Corporation chief executive Peter Levinge.
“Our Community Fund initiative continues to make a very positive contribution through assisting a diverse mix of local groups and we look forward to rewarding many more deserving applicants again this year.”
An independent judging panel will assess and award applications with recipients to be notified in September.
Successful applicants will be invited to a special presentation evening on Wednesday 1 October.
