POLICE are investigating a suspicious fire which destroyed a shed on a property in Cranbourne West.
The fire was started around 5pm on Saturday 12 July when offenders threw two lit flare devices at the shed and then set off an explosive device in the driveway.
It is unknown how the device was ignited, but partially damaged metal was found at the scene.
The house adjoining the shed was only partially damaged and no-one was inside at the time.
