MRPV gets back to school

The MRPV team were eager to pass on their construction wisdom.

While the rest of the state is enjoying their school holidays, some of the team at Major Road Projects Victoria (MRPV) were busy in the classroom, with visits to the Judy Clarkson Daycare and Kindergarten Centre.

On the doorstep of the Narre Warren-Cranbourne Road Upgrade, the students are already very immersed in the bustle of the works, which seem to have inspired a cohort of future engineers who eagerly participated in the construction related activities.

Playing a bit of dress-up, the kids donned mini high-vis vests and hard hats to learn everything about road construction and road safety.

The project team also took the kids on a tour of the nearby works on Cameron Street and brought their roller for everyone to sit in, including local Member for Cranbourne, Pauline Richards, who took part in the fun.

The kids now will be able to onlook with more awareness, watching from their kindergarten windows as the remaining developments unfold, including a changed intersection at Berwick-Cranbourne Road, removal of the roundabout, new lanes in all directions, and added pedestrian signals and paths.
