A Cranbourne childcare centre is the latest to be named on the Covid exposure site list.

Clarendon Street Community Child Care Centre at 43A Clarendon Street, Cranbourne, was named as a tier 1 exposure site on Saturday 2 October.

A positive case attended on Monday 27 September, between 6.30am and 1pm.

Anyone who has visited this location during these times must get tested immediately and quarantine for 14 days from the exposure.

Meanwhile, McDonald’s Hampton Park at 535 South Gippsland Highway has been identified as a tier 2 site.

A case attended the store on Sunday 26 September between 8.15am and 11.30am.

Some individuals will be tier 1 contacts required to quarantine for 14 days and the Department will be in contact with them directly with this advice.

Otherwise, those who visited during these times should urgently get tested, then isolate until confirmation of a negative result and get tested again if symptoms appear.

Walkers Donuts Fountain Gate is also a tier 2 exposure site.

A positive Covid case visited the venue on Wednesday 29 September, between 7am and 12pm.

All others who visited during these times should urgently get tested, then isolate until confirmation of a negative result and get tested again if symptoms appear.

On Monday 4 October, Victoria recorded 1377 new locally-acquired Covid cases.

As of Sunday 3 October, Casey had 508 active cases, including 59 new cases in the previous 24 hour reporting period.

According to Federal Department of Health data, as of 26 September, 77.2 per cent of Casey residents had received their first vaccine dose, and 41.3 per cent were double dosed.

There are coronavirus testing sites located around the City of Casey, including at Casey Fields and Akoonah Park as well as various GPs.

Likewise, residents can get vaccinated at multiple sites: the state hub at Cranbourne Turf Club, their local pharmacy or their GP.
