A man had his driver licence suspended after police said they clocked him driving more than 50 kilometres an hour above the speed limit on Pearcedale Road in Botanic Ridge on Monday 2, April.
Casey Highway Patrol officers allege they detected the driver’s Holden Commodore ute travelling at 133 km/h in an 80 km/h speed zone just after midday.
When asked by police his reason for exceeding the speed limit the driver said he “was having a bad day.”
He received a $793 penalty notice, eight demerit points and a 12 month licence suspension.
