The Lynbrook community enjoyed a great night of music and dance at the annual Moonlight Cinema and Christmas Carols held at Banjo Paterson Park.
The event was hosted by the Lynbrook Residents Association and president Jason Wood said it was great to see so many families attend the evening on Saturday 9 December.
“Evolution Music is a great supporter and provided a lot of talent for the carols portion,” he said.
“We also had a choir from TurningPoint Church Lyndhurst and other local artists.
“There was also a jumping castle, face painters plus Santa, the Cheeky Elves Sparkle and Elf and Holly the Christmas Fairy.”
Casey councillor Damien Rosario said: “I was pleased to open the event.
“The spirit of Christmas is alive in Lynbrook and the volunteers have done an amazing job once again to bring the community together.”
With performances, a sausage sizzle, fairy floss, ice-cream and popcorn, it proved to be a successful night.
The event, supported by City of Casey, finished with a free Moonlight Cinema featuring a screening of The Santa Clause.
