Man faces Rani murder hearing

A 22-YEAR-OLD Clyde North man accused of murdering Doveton woman Rani Featherston two years ago is due to appear in court this morning.
Christian Bain-Singh faced an out-of-sessions court hearing at Cranbourne police station on the evening of 15 June.
He faced one charge of murder over Ms Featherston’s death in Lace Street, Doveton, in April 2014 as well as attempted murder and aggravated burglary over an incident in Chestnut Road, Doveton, about 2.45am on 22 March 2014.
Bain-Singh was remanded in custody to appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court at 10am this morning.
