THE Casey community has been encouraged to jump in and show their support for the Cranbourne Narre Relay for Life’s next fundraiser.
The Relay for Life committee has organised a fundraiser at trampoline park Xtreme Air on Thursday 31 July, with $5 from every ticket sold going towards their fundraising efforts.
Volunteer committee member Brooke Hunter urged people of all ages to join in the fun and bounce around for an hour for a good cause.
“Whether you want to relive your childhood, get fit or just have fun this is your chance to help fight back against cancer while having a fantastic time with your family and friends,” she said.
“The massive indoor trampoline centre allows people of all ages to leap into foam pits, play trampoline dodgeball, slam dunk and jump in the free jump area.
“I can guarantee everyone will leave this fundraiser with a smile on their face.
“There are no age limitations or fitness requirements; it is for anyone and everyone.”
Ms Hunter said $5 from every $16.50 ticket sold would go to the Cancer Council, through the Cranbourne Narre Relay for Life.
“Relay for Life raises funds for the Cancer Council who help to reduce the impact cancer has on our communities,” she said.
“Just $25 of Relay for Life fundraising enables the Cancer Council to provide a newly diagnosed cancer patient with important support and resources to help them through their cancer journey.”
The fundraiser will take place on Thursday 31 July from 7pm to 8pm at Xtreme Air, 1 Five Ways Boulevard, Keysborough.
Tickets must be purchase before the 24 July and can be obtained by calling Ms Hunter on 0408 635 267 or emailing brooke_hunter88@hotmail.com.
