Samoan culture comes alive

CASEY-based dance troupe Tama Tatau are keeping the Samoan culture alive in Australia. The group is made up by seven local men, including Masi Tusitala and Leulumoega Sofara (pictured), who share a passion for Samoan dance and are linked by a traditional tattoo which represents their culture and ancestry. Since forming in 2011, the group have been performing traditional Samoan dances and contemporary routines, they have created themselves, at festivals, events, weddings and birthdays around the country.
