Climate change dished out hot

Professor Tim Flannery is the guest speaker at the upcoming Casey Cardinia Business Breakfast.

CLIMATE change will be the hot topic at the upcoming Casey Cardinia Business Breakfast.The breakfast, hosted by the City of Casey, Cardinia Shire Council, Melbourne Football Club and Monash University, will feature an address by Professor Tim Flannery.
Mr Flannery, one of Australia’s most well-known scientists and leading writer on climate change, was named Australian of the Year in 2007 and is currently the Chief Commissioner of the Australian Climate Commission.
He believes that human activity is drastically altering the earth’s climate, and before long, these changes will have a devastating effect on the planet.
He will bring this global message to a local level and focus on the impact climate change will have on business in the Casey-Cardinia region.
The breakfast will be held from 7am on Wednesday 19 June at the Cardinia Cultural Centre, Lakeside Boulevard Pakenham.
The event includes a full breakfast including tea and coffee for $45 per person or $600 for a table sponsorship.
Table sponsorship includes tickets for 10 guests, logo on the table and a rolling screen presentation and acknowledgement by MC.
