The man has been linked to graffiti acts in Cranbourne, Clyde and Blind Bight.
The latest incident was at the Clyde Tennis Club overnight on 14 October.
Police said the graffiti was of an inflammatory nature and each of the cases of vandalism were directly linked.
Police are reviewing photos of a man taken on security footage at a local school and are asking anyone who may recognise him to come forward to help them identify the suspect.
Anyone with information can contact Detective Senior Constable Ollie Gaspari on 5991 0600.
