Kids enjoy a day of wet and wild fun

IT WAS a day of “wet and wild” fun at the Cranbourne indoor pool last Friday.
Kids ran, slipped and slid along the giant inflatable, bounced around on the jumping castle and competed for all they had in volleyball at the Cranbourne YMCA’s Family Fun Day.
The event was part of the Kids Craft holiday program.
Centre manager Maurice Rossetti said the day was an outstanding success judging by the smiles on the children’s faces.
“We love running these days each school holiday,” he said. “And seeing the centre filled with so many families is just fantastic.”
There was also a special guest appearance by the Cranbourne West Primary School’s Walk to School Bus character, a program in which the YMCA is involved.
Organiser of the Kids Craft Program Melinda Carlson said the program continued to grow each time they ran it.
“The kids love it, the parents love it and we love to run it,” she said.
