DEVON Meadows Primary School is running its first fete in years.
The school has decided to reopen its gates to provide rides, stalls and entertainment to the public.
From 4pm to 8pm next Friday, 23 March, the school will hold a twilight fete with fun for the whole family.
Principal Peter Hicks said it would be the first fete the school had run in several years.
He said the main feature would encompass the school’s newly completed outdoor performing area.
Not only will the school’s rock band perform, but bands from the past five years will also be on show.
“A feature at our school is definitely our music program,” Mr Hicks said.
He said bands would be playing for at least two of the four hours.
Other features include sideshow games, food stalls, veggies, crafts, cakes and trash and treasure.
The school is in Worthing Road, Devon Meadows. Call 5998 2304 for more details.
