CASEY mayor Colin Butler is encouraging local golfers to have a swing at the annual Mayoral Shield Charity Golf Day.
To be held at Berwick Montuna Golf Club later this month, the event will help raise money for local charities.
“I’m extremely pleased to be associated with this great day that will see our local charities benefit from the funds raised,” Cr Butler said.
“There will be a number of prizes on offer throughout the day including three hole-in-one prizes as well as the traditional spinning wheel and auction prizes.”
The event will be held on Thursday 29 November and is organised by the Rotary Clubs of Narre Warren and Endeavour Hills, and supported by the City of Casey and BevMarks Beds Australia.
Hit-off times will be at 8am and 1pm and will be a shotgun start with Ambrose team events for men and women.
The game will be 18 holes and participants can enjoy a sit-down lunch or dinner after the competition.
Cost is $45 per player or $40 for Berwick Montuna Golf Club members and sponsorship inquiries are welcome.
The golf club is located at Beaconsfield-Emerald Road, Guys Hill.
