LANG LANG GOLF
Peter Wilson provided the golfing highlight this week with a fantastic score of 43 points to win Saturday’s stableford event.
Wilson had a Saturday shootout with Frank De Pasquale, who played seven shots better than his handicap but still finished runner-up via a countback.
This Friday night Lang Lang Golf Club we will be hosting its third and final Social night for this season with a $250 cash shootout and 8-hole Ambrose event.
If you haven’t already booked, please do so quickly as tee times are limited and filling up fast.
If you are not up for a game and just want to pop down for a meal and to join in the fun remember to book your spot for catering purposes.
The Pies v Cats game will be on the big screen and the weather is looking good so far.

Division 1 winner was John Johnson with 40 points from runner up Guy Jones with 36 points.
Division 2 winner was Steve Clark with 37 points from runner up Rod Robertson and Richard Oldham with 36 points.
Ball rundown to 33 points and nearest the pins went to 5th Tony Goldring, 9th Peter Moore, 12th Jason Herbert and 15th Michael Fahey.
• Wednesday Ladies Stableford
The winner Anne Wedlock with 35 points from runner up Kerrie Davey with 32 points.

• Thursday Stableford Comp
The Division 1 winner was John Johnson with 39 points from runner up Ralph Hendrich with 38 points.
Division 2 winner was Vern Hall with 37 points by countback to runner up Steve Bray.
Ball rundown to 34 points and nearest the pins went to 5th Tim Purdy, 9th Matt Thompson, 12th John Johnson and 15th Colin Crowle.
• Saturday Stableford Competition
Division 1 winner was Peter Wilson with 43 points by countback to runner up Frank De Pasquale and Third placegetter Shaun Mays with 40 points.
Division 2 winner was Rena Casey with 41 points from runner up Henry Sannen with 40 points by countback to third place Mark Ando.
Division 3 winner was Vern Hall with 39 points from runner up Fia Tootoo with 38 points by countback to third placegetter Darren Johnson.

Next weekend we have the JH Gray Board Event (Stableford) in which the top-four players will qualify to move into the semi-finals.
