LANG LANG GOLF

It has been a brilliant start to the year for Noel Welsh who jagged himself a hole-in-one on the ninth on Thursday…an accomplishment he last managed 20 years ago.

Congratulations Noel, the bragging rights are certainly yours this week.

It has been raining hole in ones at Lang Lang of late, Noel’s being the last of several over the past couple of months.

The busy period has continued at Lang Lang, with many members and guests making the most of the (mostly) nice weather and beautiful course.

Full fields continue to provide a lot of friendly competitiveness and the scores are certainly reflecting this.

The upcoming Australia Day competition on Thursday is looking busy already with many players taking advantage of the opportunity to get an extra game in.

It promises to be a great day, fingers crossed the weather gods are smiling at us.

We also have our $250 shoot out and social night coming up, with local live performer Suze Simpson providing the entertainment on Friday 27 January.

The Ambrose event has booked out, but you can still book in for dinner and be a part of the $250 Ninth hole Shoot out and enjoy the atmosphere of what should be a fantastic afternoon/evening.

Congratulations to all of our winners this week, and we look forward to seeing everyone enjoy their golf over the coming warmer months.

If the golf is not so good, the drinks are cold and the club houses are cool…happy golfing.
