Appleyard just ace at Lang Lang

LANG LANG GOLF

The rain and wind didn’t stop a large field from playing Saturday’s Stableford competition, potentially getting in some match practice before the Club Championships start this week.

One man who has his iron-play well and truly dialled in is Lang Lang member Ricky Appleyard, who achieved every golfers dream with an elusive hole-in-one on the par-three 15th.

Congratulations Ricky…luckily for you there were witnesses!

In good form heading into the clubbies is Brett Francome, who won A Grade with 39 points from runner up Brenton Adams on 38 points, with Jason Williams scoring 37 points to fill the placings.

Shane Sparks won B Grade with 41 points, five clear of runner up David Barrie on 36 points.

Barrie won the runner up prize from Ricky Appleyard, who was still quite content with his day’s outing.
