Many cultures, one school

On Wednesday 17 March, students at Hampton Park Primary School shared their cultural songs, dances and national dress at the school’s annual Cultural Infusion Concert.

This event is always held around Harmony Day and helps to bring together and celebrate the many different cultures within the school.

Previously, families have been asked to bring along a national dish from their country of origin and the school community then shares the meal, but to be Covid-safe, families instead submitted recipes for the school to make a special Hampton Park Primary School Multicultural Cookbook.

Our photographer Gary Sissons went along on the day to see the celebrations.
