Holt MP Anthony Byrne has been recognised by the Australian Federal Police (AFP) for his support of their work.
On Friday 11 December, Australian Federal Police Commissioner Reece Kershaw presented Mr Byrne with the Commissioner’s Challenge Coin – known as a ‘friendship coin’ – in recognition of his support, ongoing collaboration and friendship with the AFP.
“I am extremely humbled and privileged to receive this honour from the AFP,” said Mr Byrne.
“The AFP is our key frontline national law enforcement agency, the Australian equivalent of the FBI.
“Its mission is to protect Australians from threats such as terrorism, foreign interference and espionage, organised crime and child exploitation,” he added.
