Man charged over shooting

Armed Crime Squad detectives have charged a man in relation to a shooting in Narre Warren South earlier this month.

It is alleged a man was shot in the upper body while seated in a car on Shrives Road about 5am, 7 March.

The man was transported to hospital in a critical condition.

On 19 March police arrested a 33-year-old Lynbrook man and 22-year-old Narre Warren woman.

The man has been charged with attempted murder.

The woman was charged with possess drug of dependence, commit offences whilst on bail and weapons related offences.

The pair will face Melbourne Magistrates Court on 19 March.
