St Peter’s College students celebrated

The nervous wait is over for St. Peter’s College students who received their Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) results on 12 December.

This year’s College’s dux is Sandeepa Andra Hennadige who received an ATAR of 92.05 which places him in the top seven per cent of the state.

Sandeepa is hoping to study Science at the University of Melbourne with a major in Computer and Software systems. With this, Sandeepa is hoping to gain qualifications to work as an engineer in the area of Artificial Intelligence.

“On behalf of the College community we congratulate him for this wonderful achievement,” principal Chris Black said.

“On behalf of the St. Peter’s College community I would like to congratulate all Year 12 students, both VCE and VCAL for their achievements in 2019.

“For VCE students the results you received today are just a point in your journey and our best wishes go with you all as you move beyond the gates of St. Peter’s College and forge new pathways and begin new journeys.

“Our best wishes go with you all. Our motto: Be Not Afraid will be an ever present guiding force in the journey ahead. Good luck to all,” Mr Black said.
