Police has charged a 15-year-old girl following an assault outside a shopping in Cranbourne on Wednesday 9 October.
The victim was standing at a crossing when eight females aged between 12-16 years old approached her 5.30pm.
One of the females walked up to the victim and demanded she hand over her phone, police say. The victim refused and the female assaulted the victim. Police attended the scene shortly after and arrested the female.
The girl was charged with robbery, assault, and affray and bailed to face the Children’s Court at a later date.
