Two people have been taken to hospital following a two-car collision in Cranbourne West on Wednesday 23 January.
Police say it’s understood a car was travelling along the Western Port Highway near the intersection of Hall Road when it veered onto the wrong side of the road, colliding with an oncoming vehicle.
The male driver and sole occupant of the first car was taken to hospital, however his condition is not known at this stage.
Police say the female driver of the car struck was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Ambulance media spokeswoman Lana Wilson said paramedics assessed two people at the scene, a man in his fifties and a woman in her sixties at the scene.
“The man was taken to Frankston Hospital in a critical condition with a medical condition,” she said.
“The woman was taken to The Alfred Hospital in a serious condition with a spinal injury.”
Police are investigating the cause of the collision.
