River Gum Primary School was transformed into a sea of colour on Tuesday, 6 March.
The school’s colour run saw students soaked in coloured power as they celebrated the launch of their new houses and house colours which are sky blue, orange, purple and yellow.
Year Six teacher Caroline Hodge said the event was organised to encourage student and family engagement.
“We really want to connect with our community and let our families take part,” she said.
“We really want to encourage school pride and positive thinking in our students so that’s why we have started the year doing something positive like this.”
Ms Hodge said the school also runs the Resilience Project. “(This is) about having a growth mindset and being grateful, something that we have been working with for the last year.”
