Fall from roof

By Brendan Rees

A man aged in his fifties was taken to Frankston Hospital this morning after falling from a roof in Cannons Creek.
Ambulance crews were called to May Street just before 10am where it’s believed the man fell from a roof whilst carrying out maintenance work.
The man suffered injuries to his back and hip and remained in a stable condition.
Ambulance Victoria media spokesperson Lina Howi could not confirm if the building was a workplace and said it was unknown how the fall occurred.
Worksafe was aware of the incident and were making enquiries.
