Kids to actively defend their titles

Lynbrook Primary School is aiming to maintain the title of most active school in the Victorian Premier’s Active April Challenge 2017.
Lynbrook Primary School won last year’s competition as well as outstanding registration numbers for the 2017 challenge and currently place in the top five most active schools in Victoria.
The Premier’s Active April Challenge urges people of all ages and fitness levels to commit to 30 minutes of physical activity a day during April to improve their health and wellbeing.
Casey residents who sign up for the challenge will receive 10 free passes to use at Casey ARC, Casey RACE or Endeavour Hills Leisure Centre.
A range of other offers are available for anyone to sign up to the challenge including a 15 per cent discount at Sportsmart, one hour of free tennis court hire at Melbourne Park or Albert Reserve, a two-for-one ticket offer to SEA LIFE Melbourne Aquarium and heaps more.
Participants in Active April will be able to track their progress online or by using the new app and collect rewards in their Virtual Trophy Cabinet.
The app and website will also give participants access to healthy recipes, motivational tips and messages from Ambassadors AFL Women’s Melbourne Demons Captain, Daisy Pearce and Nine News presenter Jo Hall.
