AROUND 1000 bales of hay erupted in flames, and police have declared the fire suspicious.
The extensive blaze off Coolibah Road was reported to CFA at 11.30am on Monday 5 September, and was deemed under control by midday.
A building, which resembled a glass house around 30ft long, built using plastic was partially damaged in the fire.
CFA advises local residents that they will notice smoke south of Coolibah Road for quite some time.
