Eyesore suburb

DURING my early morning walk around the streets of Hampton Park I notice things and what I see is not nice but an eyesore.
In the 43 years we have lived here, I have never seen it so bad – graffiti on the concrete walls and fences near the creek and rubbish dumped on the nature strip on Highland Avenue, which has been there since before Christmas.
A vacant block of land on Village Drive is now a dumping ground.
Dead tree branches down the middle of Pound Road.
The grass cutter just goes round them.
It seems the council and VicRoads are not interested in cleaning up.
However, the worst mess is the amount of rubbish dumped outside the Salvos shop on Stuart Avenue.
Years ago Hampton Park was a clean place to live but not anymore.
