Motorcyclist dies after week-long battle

A CRANBOURNE motorcyclist has died in hospital seven days after crashing in Bangholme.
Police say the 50-year-old man died on Thursday 5 November after being thrown from his green Kawasaki as he overtook a vehicle on Worsley Road about 7.30am on Thursday 29 October.
He struck a sign post near the Eastern Treatment Plant.
The man was airlifted to Royal Melbourne Hospital in a critical condition with head and chest injuries.
