Wholesome education

St Peter’s College in Cranbourne aims to encourage students to lead with wisdom, compassion and courage.

ST Peter’s College in Cranbourne and East Cranbourne offers faith-based education aimed at “educating the whole child” as well as individualised learning to suit each child.
College marketing manager April Hampson said the college offered secondary school Catholic co-education for students from Year 7 to Year 12.
“The college has Catholic faith-based education, and is a Year 7 to 12 secondary school with specific VCE and VCAL, VET study programs,” she said.
“We have a new purpose-built trade skills centre opened in 2015, and we are now offering Certificate II Electrotechnology and Certificate II in Engineering.”
Ms Hampson said the college was focused on “developing our students to meet the needs of our 21st century” as well as providing opportunities for excellence, engagement and achievement across all areas and endeavours of learning.
“The college is committed to the enrichment of the whole person and strengthening the qualities of our students so that they may lead with wisdom, compassion and courage,” she said.
The college has been operating for 20 years, and has numerous teaching and support staff who were past pupils of St Peter’s College who have now returned to support the ongoing aims of the college.
And with the college now in its 20th year, it is an exciting time to be part of the school community.
Stage 3A building at the new state-of-the-art East Campus is due to be completed next month, and the purpose-built trade skills centre has been opened this year at the West Campus.
The college can be found at 1005 Cranbourne-Frankston Road, Cranborne, and 55 Mackillop Way, East Cranbourne. Phone 5990 7777 for more information.
