35 is the new 21

FOUNTAIN Gate Shopping Centre celebrated a special birthday this month.
The popular shopping precinct turned 35 on 11 March and centre management recognised the occasion with a pop-up gallery, displaying images and facts from throughout the facility’s more than three decades of history.
The pop-up gallery was accompanied by free 15 minute history sessions by local historian Heather Arnold.
And the shopping centre still continues to provide for the community, evidenced as recently as last weekend.
On Saturday 21 March Fountain Gate held its Fashion Saturday event, where the latest styles were showcased to shoppers.
News photographer Stewart Chambers stopped by to capture the catwalk through his lens. 136408
