Hunt for thief

POLICE are searching for a man who robbed a Hampton Park house while the occupants were asleep inside and then stole their car.
It’s understood the offender forced his way into the Glenora Way house through a laundry door overnight on Tuesday 11 November, where he found keys and stole a black Honda sedan parked in the garage.
The offender is also believed to have stolen a wallet from the house and used a stolen credit card to make several purchases on the same night, including from a Lynbrook KFC and the Hampton Park Tavern.
The stolen vehicle was involved in a police pursuit several days later on Saturday 15 November in Pakenham, but the chase was ultimately terminated due to the offender’s erratic driving.
Anyone with any information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or visit www.crimestoppers.com.au.
