CRANBOURNE centre-half forward Troy Tharle had every reason to look a little enthused; giving team-mate Brad Hermans a pat on the head after the Eagles had just turned a five-goal quarter-time deficit into an 11-point half-time lead against Berwick at Edwin Flack Reserve on Saturday. The Eagles’ seven-goal second quarter provided the impetus for a 34-point victory that has them beautifully poised – in second position on the Casey Cardinia league ladder – as they look towards a fourth consecutive grand final. Tharle will play his 100th game for the Eagles this Saturday against Hampton Park at Casey Fields. For more on all the CCFL action, turn to page 45 in sport. 124136 Picture: STEWART CHAMBERS
