Pools inundated

IN a bid to avoid the scorching heat, families were found flooding to the pools in an ideal day out for both the young and old.
Indoor and outdoor pools across the City of Casey were overflowing with families trying to escape the heat.
Kids holiday programs were run across the area to keep the younger children entertained, while the rest were left under the watchful eye of parents and life guards.
Cranbourne’s Casey Race and Narre Warren’s Casey Arc were some of the many pools which experienced the splashing of feet, when children as young as 18 months took to the water.
Some centre’s grasped the opportunity to teach youths about water safety, running workshops throughout the holidays.Other public pools simply played hosts to hundreds of families spending their time wisely in the midst of hot weather.
The water provided a refreshment for families across the area.
