TWO Cranbourne brothers a busting their way into the dance world and sending a positive message to other children along the way.
Hip-hop and breakdancing brothers Ryan, 12, and Jaryd Bennett, 9, make up the dance duo Little Munchkins Dance Crew.
And while their dancing started off as a bit of fun, the boys are now beginning to make a name for themselves and turning their passion into a career.
In the past 12 months, the boys have been performing around the state at a range of parties and community events and festivals, busking outside of Crown Casino on a regular basis and their YouTube videos are becoming hits.
Most recently, the duo have been booked to perform at this year’s Emirates Stakes Day.
Their love of dancing started at young age when they would dance around the house Robbie Williams and the song Who Let the Dogs Out.
Their mother Keryn enrolled them at J-Step Dance in Cranbourne at a young age and the boys have never looked back.
Ryan said they hoped to spread a positive message to other children through their dancing.
“The reason we started performing is when we were at school a few years ago there were kids saying bad things to us because we wear dancers,” he said.
“So I told mum and she said don’t ever stop doing what you love because someone told you not to and she was right, we worked hard and look at us now.
“We love dancing because it inspires more kids and adults to give dancing ago.
“We would also like to teach everyone that dancing is cool and it’s not just for girls.”
