MORE than 50 people turned out on Wednesday for Seniors’ Week celebrations at Cranbourne Community House.
The centre’s two men’s groups – Men’s Shed Program and Older Men New Ideas (OM:NI) – hosted a free sausage sizzle for all.
The centre then held a free two-hour internet session for seniors who showed interest.
Cranbourne Community House manager Margaret O’Callaghan said she was thrilled with the turn-out.
“There are many more people aware of the activities and programs conducted at the Cranbourne Community House,” she said.
“I would like to thank the City of Casey for financially supporting the activity.
“Our two men’s groups are to be congratulated on their excellent hosting, cooking and for welcoming everyone who attended.”
For more information on any programs, contact Cranbourne Community House 5996 2941.
