GOOD Guys Cranbourne turned orange on Saturday to host a colourful celebration to mark a milestone occasion.
The Good Guys Local Giving Program reached $4 million, which has been donated to 150 local community organisations around Australia, supporting essential programs, services and projects at a grassroots level.
Frank Butera, from The Good Guys Cranbourne, said the store had contributed more than $20,900 to local community organisations including the Cranbourne Fire Brigade and Jamie’s Ministry of Food Australia.
“While it’s a celebration to mark the $4 million milestone on a national level, we are really celebrating what’s been achieved here at a local level and all the good that’s come out of it,” he said.
“The Good Guys Local Giving Program is aimed at putting some goodness back into the community, through making a tangible difference to the lives of those in need.”
The team at The Good Guys Cranbourne celebrated the milestone by thanking his customers with a storewide sale of up to 15 per cent off all stock. The fire brigade also joined in the fun with a fund-raising barbecue, with all proceeds going to the Cranbourne fire brigade.
Over the next 12 months, The Good Guys Cranbourne will continue to partner with the Cranbourne Fire Brigade and will assist with the purchase of a new vehicle.
The Good Guys Local Giving Program is run in partnership with The Good Guys Foundation, a not-for-profit organisation which will see a percentage from every transaction made in-store or online, donated to local community organisations.
