By Bridget Brady
ORGANISERS of a Cranbourne toy run are gearing up for their 26th year at the helm.
Barbara Maggs and Tony Jenner from Devon Meadows are once again organising the Ulysses Club Toy Run, which will see hundreds of motorbike riders leave Cranbourne and head to the Docklands on 12 December.
Riders will assemble at Centro Cranbourne car park on High Street at 8am for a police escort departure at 10am. Donations of toys and non-perishable food items are taken on the bikes, with between 500 and 700 riders usually attending the event.
There will be a range of awards, including the best dressed bike. Donations are given to the Salvation Army and the Cranbourne Information and Support Service.
Ms Maggs and Mr Jenner are honorary life members of the Motorcycle Riders Association (MRA).
For details call Barbara on 5998 2424.
