TEN-year-old Joshua Hunt has spirit.
The Grade 4 Coral Park Primary School student was honoured with a Community Spirit Award by Narre Warren South MP Judith Graley.
Each year, primary schools in the Narre Warren South electorate are asked to nominate a Grade 4 student to receive the award. The award is available to a Grade 4 student who has the potential to play a future leadership role in their community and is considerate to others, civic minded, demonstrates initiative, participates in a range of activities inside and outside school and has good understanding of contemporary world issues.
Ms Graley said in selecting a middle year student, she hoped to encourage them to continue to develop their leadership qualities while at school.
Josh was presented with a certificate and a $50 book voucher from Angus and Robertson Bookstore in Fountain Gate.
