Police probe

A MAN was struck in the face with a Vodka Cruiser stubbie before he was robbed on Fairfield Street, Cranbourne, recently.
Police said at 1.10am on 15 August a man approached two men, aged in their 20s, who were walking on Fairfield Street.
He asked for directions before striking one man on the side of the face with a Vodka Cruiser stubbie and demanded his wallet and phone.
Police said a second man was with the offender but did not participate in the assault.
The offender left in a blue commodore sedan possibly a vz or vy with a red plate affixed.
The offender is described as aged 20 to 25, with a muscular upper build and about six feet tall with ears that stick out.
