LIGHTHOUSE Christian College preps were the first school group to visit the Room to Grow community garden.
The children learnt in class about how plants grew. They will revisit the garden to check the progress of the seeds they planted.
The students spent the day making signs for the different flowers and vegetables. The Turning Point Family Church in Cranbourne established the garden on a one-acre area of its land.
The Room to Grow garden is part of the Healthy 4 Life project and is open for residents and school group visits each day from 9am until 4pm except Sundays. For details contact the Turning Point Family Church on 5996 3048.
