Clyde’s good Neighbours

STARS of the small screen visited Clyde last week to film scenes for the popular television show Neighbours.
Cast and crew from the hit television show spent about six hours filming at Clyde, which was chosen for scenes that required a rural setting.
Publicity officer Kelly Davis said Clyde was a perfect location for the storyline that saw the characters stop at a rest spot after being on a bus.
The Clyde Village Store was used during filming last Wednesday.
“It looked like rural Victoria and only 45 minutes away from our studio. Those sorts of locations are absolute jewels for what we are doing,” she said.
Clyde Village Store manager Nicole Brown got to see much of the action and said it was very exciting for locals.
“There were heaps of people watching and kids got to have a look on their way to school, so it was very exciting for them,” Ms Brown said.
She said Neighbours had filmed at the location about 10 years ago.
Fans can expect to see Clyde on their screens in late November.
