A FIFTY-five-year-old Cranbourne woman was killed on Monday after she was hit by a car at about 1.30pm.
Police believe the accident happened when an 80-year-old woman was driving out of her driveway at a block of units in Fairfield St. The driver clipped a stationary car next to hers as well as her neighbour who was standing nearby.
Police allege the woman was dragged underneath the vehicle moments before it smashed into a brick wall.
Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the fatal collision. The 80-year-old driver from Cranbourne is assisting police with inquiries.
