Casey RACE openfor inspection

CASEY’S new state-of-the-art aquatic and leisure centre will officially open for public inspection this Saturday with guided tours, demonstrations and family fun.
After more than two years in the making Casey RACE will be open on Saturday, between 1 and 5pm, for the public to view the new swimming pools, water play zones, water slides, and health and fitness areas.
There will be a number of demonstrations including swimming races by the Casey Tiger Sharks and aquatic education and aqua aerobics, as well as roving entertainers, face painters and children’s rides and activities.
After the Casey RACE officially opens on Saturday 13 there will be a free family fun day on Sunday 14 and then the facility will be open for regular business on Monday 15.
City of Casey acting mayor Daniel Mulino said the council was very excited to finally open the doors of this magnificent facility to the Casey community.
“The council is very proud to unveil this facility to the community at its opening on Saturday 13 June where people of all ages and abilities can inspect the Casey RACE and take part in lots of fun activities as well,” Cr Mulino said.
