Dive into Christmas at Tooradin

CHRISTMAS on the Foreshore is back for its 15th year in 2008.
Held by the Tooradin Foreshore Committee the carols are back with their usual array of skydivers, jumping castles, food and drinks.
Committee member Bill Friend says the carols will be held on Friday 19 December kicking off at 6.30pm.
Visitors will be asked for a gold coin donation to go towards local projects.
“We encourage residents to get into the Christmas spirit and support our local community,” he said.
“It is our only fund-raiser for the year.”
He said the carols offered a full program of entertainment.
“There will be a fireworks display, a number of entertainers and bands throughout the evening,” Mr Friend said.
Following wet weather in past years, he said they expected up to 3000 people to attend the carols this year.
“All people need to do is bring their own chairs and blankets,” Mr Friend said.
”And we will make it a family friendly night out.”
The carols will take place at the Tooradin Foreshore, Sawtells Inlet.
