TRESPASSERS were interrupted by security alarms when trying to steal items from the Cranbourne Racing Centre during the weekend.
Cranbourne Turf Club chief executive Neil Bainbridge said nothing was taken and the staff had arrived on site soon after the alarms were activated.
“We are fortunate to have 24/7 security and people in the area who can be here in a short period of time.”
Mr Bainbridge said the committee would consider further improving the security system at the centre.
