CASEY City Council has received positive and supportive community feedback about its Cranbourne Community Action Plan.
Development of the plan began in 2006 and was adopted by council on 3 June after public feedback was sought.
Comments forwarded to council officers reinforced the need to improve roads and transport and community services and safety, but supported the overall direction of the action plan.
One resident suggested Cranbourne should hold more fetes, markets and events, with council officers reporting they would assist and support the development of more events.
Council officers will continue to follow up actions which address the issues highlighted by the feedback.
