Taking stock for grandma

NAN, Nanna, Nonna, Oma, Grandma and Gran.
No matter what the name, they hold a special place in our hearts.
To celebrate National Nanna’s Night, Centro Cranbourne Shopping Centre will today (Thursday) host a morning tea and day of senior discounts.
National Nanna’s Night is a show of appreciation for the older generation and aims to raise awareness of the need for care and inclusion of the aged.
Centro Cranbourne retailers will be celebrating the event by offering senior citizens retailer discounts.
Katies will discount full-price items by 20 per cent, and bookstore Angus & Robertson will take 10 per cent of all stock.
Sportsco, Stuff & Nonsense, Wendy’s, Kays and Homemart are also participating in the senior sale.
Organisations, families and individuals across Australia can show their support for National Nanna’s Night by hosting an event during the month of July. The proceeds from Nanna’s Night go towards Aged Care research.
To register or find an event near you, visit www.nationalnannasnight.com or call 1300 NANNAS.
